Advanced Solutions for

Food and Cold Chain

Enhancing HVAC and refrigeration efficiency is vital for food manufacturing and cold-chain operations, where continuous cooling protects product quality and compliance. Product-temperature-based control, efficient heat transfer, and humidity management reduce energy use, downtime, and equipment wear while ensuring food safety. For operators with cold trucks, our fuel efficiency solutions also cut diesel consumption and delivery costs.

Energy Loss in Food & Cold Chain Operations

Food processing facilities, cold rooms, and refrigerated transport operate continuously under strict temperature requirements — yet significant energy loss often occurs across refrigeration systems and diesel-powered logistics.

Common sources of inefficiency include:

  • Refrigeration performance decline — reduced heat transfer at evaporators and condensers, unstable airflow, and excessive compressor cycling
  • Cold room & refrigerator air fluctuation — frequent door opening allows warm air infiltration, triggering unnecessary cooling cycles and frost buildup
  • Heat gain through insulation — thermal bridging and degraded panels increasing continuous cooling load
  • Diesel inefficiency in cold trucks — incomplete combustion leading to higher fuel consumption and wasted energy

Because cold chain systems operate at low temperatures and tight tolerances, even small inefficiencies significantly increase electricity and fuel costs, requiring a coordinated thermal, airflow, and fuel-efficiency optimisation approach.

HVAC Energy Effiency Enhancement

Radiant Climate Technologies improves HVAC energy efficiency by restoring condenser and cooling coils, then enhancing heat transfer with [1]Radiant+ E3 Coating heat-conductive coating. [2] MaxR100® is added to the refrigerant loop to remove oil fouling, reduce friction, lower compressor load, and further improve refrigeration cycle efficiency.

[3]Endocube, a passive, temperature-mimicking thermal mass device monitors true product temperature in refrigerators and cold rooms, to prevent unnecessary cooling cycles and reduces energy waste. And [4] Rentar Fuel Catalyst can be deployed to enhance diesel fuel combustion efficiency in the truck, resulting in fuel saving and cheaper cost of delivery.

Passive Cooling, Comfort and Hygiene of Buildings

Radiant Climate Technologies delivers passive building cooling by applying PentaGard on exterior walls to reflect solar heat and reduce heat transfer. Axion25 is applied to interior walls to provide thermal insulation, suppress condensation, inhibit mold and bacteria growth, and ensure long-term surface stability without chemical leaching. Noise insulation is also expected. CeraliteTM , the high-transparency heat and UV control window film, is applied on the glass windows to reduce solar heat gain while preserving near-original glass appearance.
